Advertisment for change

Recently different organizations are telecasting advertisement for  creating awareness among voters about coming elections.

But a product advertisment of a cellphone company also echos the expections of general populations & encouraging,I may say song for change.In this ad two dept ,Network & Customare care debates/demands all the credit for the success of the company which may symbolize with the two major political factions of our country.

The two dept of the company reaches a consensus about their part/role for the devlopment( in the advertisement).I hope same role from the political forces for the development of oue country.

Violation of citizens right

Recently new voter list for Bangladesh is completed.No doubt this will help to conduct the upcoming parliamentary election.
But a decision by EC to give a chance only to Khaleda Zia to become a voter, no other citizen will not get this chance.
I realize this is a violation of the right of other citizen who anyhow failed to become a voter.

National Health Policy(NHP): without Disaster & Emergency preparedness!

Now a days Dhaka already experienced mild earthquake several times. Experts are saying/forecasting possible mid/strong earthquake may hit in our country.

We are experienced as a nation to deal natural calamities like flood, typhoon ,Sidre & that earned a great deal of respect/reputation from other countries. We may think as expert of disaster & emergency preparedness!Do we have adequate preparation to deal aftermath of an earthquake? I fear we don’t have that.
Every disaster has effects on health & a good health policy should have clear strategy how to deal that. The draft National Health Policy of our country has only one sentence, necessary steps will be taken to develop "Emergency preparedness & Response". It should have a separate identity in the policy like many other strategies.

Today(3rd October,2008),I watched a television drama "Interview" witten by Anisul Haque & directed by Faruqi Mostafa Sarwar. I dont have any comments about the story or quality of the direction or other technical side but what astonished me is a music track composed by "PinkFloyd",

used in this drama.

If the maker got the permission to use this track in a proper way then I have nothing to say, on the otherhand without doing so is a clear violation of copyright & royality rules.

Now a days  in our country we raises, our native singer should get their proper royality& obviously this is their their right to get this.

But we dont pay respect others or practise of doing so,specially those who involve in media then it is very unfortunate,  I must say.

DurgaPuja at gulshan

Meaasage from Srabonti

For those of you who do not know, Dhaka City Corporation (DCC) is trying to stop the Gulshan Puja @ the Gulshan Youth Club Ground at the eleventh hour. After all our efforts to ensure that this is truly a 'Sharbajanin' & secular festival, now they think it's a sensitive area for non-muslim events! 

Last night, they also deployed the Ansar Troup to stop our decorators to do any ground work or access the ground.

DCC is playing lazy to answer our appeals, knowing that with the Eid vacations ahead, we would be left with practically no time to take any preparation for decoration before the 5th.

It is so sad that, despite the communal tolerance in the mass people of Bangladesh, these bureaucrats and political leaders try to impose the non-secular attitude on the nation to benefit their respective interests. 

We would request all of you to raise your voice against such an unreasonable act. We are sure that we can use all the help we can get!

Actually here in Dhaka, we have very few occasions to celebrate in a festive mood.
DURGAPUJA may be one of the exceptional occasions where there should not be communal character as it is a part of our culture not as a religion.
Alas! I don't understand how much time we will take to realize this?

Promoting Wife.................a new trend!

I dont understand why they are doing so,,,,,,,think about Humayun Sir(writer,director,teacher),Mahfuzur Rahman(chairman,ATN). 

I dont find anything special in Eva Rahman as a singer.Mahfuzur Rahman spending lots of money & time to promote her as a singer.Even ATN is loosing its popularity only because of her I must say.

On the otherhand our Humayun Sir is relentlessly trying to promote her 2nd wife to turn her into big big actress! But Why?
